According to Investigators, on Tuesday, November 10, 2015, around 7:47 p.m., officers responded to reports of shots fired at 2593 Langdon Avenue South and found that Acostas had already been transported to All Children’s Hospital, where he died shortly after his arrival. At this time, detectives believe this particular residence was intentionally targeted. Upon arrival they located a silver Infiniti Q50 sedan stopped in the north bound exit ramp of I-275 at 54th Avenue North. The victim was found in the car suffering from a gunshot wound and was pronounced dead on the scene. Homicide investigators do not believe this was a random act. Crime Stoppers of Pinellas County is seeking the public's assistance to help identify the suspects responsible for the murder of 21-year-old, McKinley Torbit, Jr. (Photo of Victim attached.) According to Largo Police Detectives, on Monday, July 13, 2015, around 9:42 p.m., officers responded to a shooting at the Tara Gardens Apartments at 1630 Jefferson Street. As many as four suspects approached the residence to locate McKinley Torbit, Jr. Torbit exited his apartment and a confrontation ensued between him and the suspects, in the courtyard of the complex. Torbit was shot during the confrontation and transported to Morton Plant Hospital, where he died of his injuries. Detectives advise that this does not appear to be a random event.

Synopsis:
Pinellas County Sheriff’s detectives are asking for assistance from the public in locating 27-year-old, Laura Marie Nimbach, who has been missing from St. Petersburg since February 17, 2009. Ms. Nimbach is a white female, with brown hair and brown eyes, is 5’6” tall and weighed approximately 105 pounds at the time of her disappearance. She has a floral tribal tattoo on her lower back and her initials, “LN”, on her left wrist. Ms. Nimbach had attempted suicide in the past and is possibly suicidal. In November 2008, she was hospitalized with kidney and heart failure and may still have medical problems as a result. Ms. Nimbach also suffers from asthma and is known to abuse drugs, according to her sister. According to detectives, at 12:52 p.m. on January 28th, St. Petersburg Police were called by an acquaintance of the two victims, who had stopped by the house at 2840 17 Avenue North to check on them. According to investigators, the victims were killed within 48 hours of when they were found and the trauma has been described as particularly brutal. While investigators have not yet identified any potential suspects or motive for the murders at this time, they do not believe that this was a random act of violence.
