SEEKING TIPS IN TREASURE ISLAND HOME BURGLARY

The Treasure Island Police Department is asking for assistance from the public to help identify and locate the suspect involved a residential burglary on Paradise Lane in Treasure Island. According to investigators, on April 23, 2016, at 1:28 p.m. the victim heard some noises in garage and later discovered several fishing poles stolen. A check of the victim’s video surveillance shows a white male taking the fishing poles from the side door of the home. Video shows the male suspect arriving on a bicycle and then urinating on the side of the residence. The suspect then entered the garage and took the fishing poles and other fishing equipment, valued at over $2,100. The suspect appears to be a white male, 20-30 years old, and was last seen wearing a light-colored polo shirt, black shorts and sneakers, and dark colored hat.
