SEEKING DUNEDIN ATTEMPTED ROBBERY SUSPECT

Pinellas County Sheriff’s Detectives are asking the public to help identify the suspect in the attempted robbery of the TD Bank at 28100 US 19 N in Dunedin. According to detectives, on Tuesday, October 29 at approximately 10:45 a.m. the suspect entered the bank and handed a teller a note, requesting money. After a few minutes, the suspect left the bank on foot without any money. No one was injured during the incident and no weapon was seen at the time of the attempted robbery. The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 5’11”, 160 lbs. He is estimated to be 27 – 35 years old with dark hair. He was last seen wearing a white ball cap with a “Super Bowl XXXIII” emblem printed on the front, a dark coat and a red Tampa Bay Buccaneers shirt. No one was injured during the incident and no weapon was seen at the time of the attempted robbery.
