Largo Police Detectives are requesting the assistance of our citizens to help identify the suspects who attempted to rob two employees of the Pet Supermarket located at 4445 East Bay Drive, in Clearwater.    According to detectives, at 9:33 p.m. on August 30th, two employees were closing the store when one was approached at his vehicle by a masked male, armed with a semi-automatic handgun, who demanded his bag. Two additional male suspects stood nearby as lookouts while this occurred, and during the robbery attempt, shots were fired at the second victim. All three suspects then fled westbound, on foot, through the business’ parking lot toward an apartment complex.    All three suspects are described as black males, approximately 5’10”, 180 lbs., and wearing all dark-colored clothing. The armed suspect was described as having mocha-colored skin and he wore a red bandana across the bottom half of his face.   Anyone having information that may assist with this investigation is asked to contact Crime Stoppers of Pinellas County.
