SEEKING SUSPECT WHO BURGLARIZED LAW ENFORCEMENT VEHICLE

Pinellas County Burglary Detectives are asking the public to help identify the suspect in the burglary of an unmarked law enforcement vehicle. The burglary occurred between 5:00 p.m. on March 11th and 7:00 a.m. on March 12th, near 80th Ave. N. & 41st St. N. in Pinellas Park. Detectives advise that the suspect stole a Rock River rifle with magazines, a Glock-model pistol with a Blackhawk paddle holster & drop-down leg holster, as well as a black vest with “SHERIFF” on the front & back in white letters. Contents of the vest, that were also stolen include Glock-model magazines, a tactical flashlight, Bench Mark Knife, a set of Smith & Wesson handcuffs and radio holder. Furthermore. A black nylon duty belt with handcuff case, expandable baton & holder and magazine pouch were taken. The suspect also stole a black trifold leather wallet with a silver Sheriff’s star badge and two agency credentials. Anyone with information that may assist detectives in this investigation, can remain anonymous and eligible for up to $1000 reward, may call Crime Stoppers of Pinellas County.
