CAN YOU IDENTIFY THIS AUTO THEFT SUSPECT?

The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office Arson & Auto Theft Unit is looking for information that may help identify and locate the pictured suspect who is wanted for Grand Theft Auto and Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card. According to investigators, during the overnight hours between March 26 – 27, 2017, an unidentified suspect stole a victim’s red, 2006 Acura MDX from a residence in Seminole. The vehicle has a small dent near the driver’s side front wheel well and faded paint just below the hatch on the back where someone removed stickers from either side. The victim’s debit card was in the vehicle at the time it was stolen. The suspect, pictured below, used the card for multiple transactions at two separate CVS stores located at 8905 Bryan Dairy Road in Largo and 8001 9th Street North in St. Petersburg. The transaction at the Largo store was made at 3:18 a.m. on March 27, while transactions at the St. Petersburg store were made at 4:01 a.m. Additional attempts to use the card were reported by the victim’s bank on the same day at an unknown 7-11 store at 4:06 a.m. and a RaceTrac station, at 5:46 a.m.The suspect then went to the Publix located at 5577 Park Street on March 27th at 0730 a.m. and used a check from the victim’s checkbook, totaling $138.61.
